The Paul Russell Band

Not a showband in the true sense of the word but Paul Russell, who was the presenter of The Showband Show on Teilifís Éireann, formed a band and toured Germany. Among the members were bassist Gerry Ryan (Alpine 7/Hoedowners/Caroline), Mel Dean (Caroline/Hoedowners), British drummer Brian Wheatley and Paul Russell's wife, Grace Emmanuel.
