With reference to
the Burton Showband, I recognise a couple of the guys in the photo.
Front left is Harry Convery, and standing directly behind him, with
his hand on Harry’s shoulder, is Armand Galliard. They are both
originally from the Gilford area and both also played with The
Argonauts Showband. I see Harry occasionally, so I must ask him to
give details of the rest of the band. Armand also played with me for a
time in ‘Five Star Brandy’ ~ John McMaster, Banbridge |
