Most of the images on this website are scans of
handout photos which bands gave out to punters after a dance. Of all the
photos in my collection, this little one is my favourite. It's a small
card, measuring only about 5 cm. square but it epitomises, more than any
handout photo, the innocence and politeness of the showbands era.
