Sleepy Hollow was a Cork-based rock band formed circa 1972. They supported Rory Gallagher on his Irish Tour '74 and some members can be seen at the after tour party in the Cork Boat Club in the video/dvd, "Rory Gallagher Irish Tour '74".

They released one single, "Come On Joe", a tribute to their roadie/sound man, Joe O' Herlihy, who later was sound engineer with U2.

The photograph includes four members of the definitive line-up. Beginning with the guy with the specs and moving left to right, they are - Declan Pender, Pat Crowley (a long time member of the Mary Black Band), Bill O'Brien, Arty Lorrigan (now playing , I believe, with the Ben Prevo Blues Band in Dublin). Johnny Rice is absent from this photo.

They were always a big crowd puller in Cork, especially in the Kampus Kitchen in UCC. They reformed for a one-off gig a couple of years ago and they still sounded as good as ever!
