Formed from the Michael Galbraith Orchestra which played regularly in Muff Ballroom, Donegal. The Viscounts featured trumpet-player John Merrick (top left) who moved to Galway and played for many years with Twilight, The Black Magic Big Band and the West Coast Jazz Band.
