Hailing from Tralee in County Kerry, The Vanguard Six took their name from an American rocket. Records included 'Isle Of Innisfree / Those Times Have Gone' (Shamrock SSP503 - 1965) and  'Who's Taking You Home Tonight / Mother Machree' (Dolphin DOS4 - 1968).
